The Techno Paints is going to set up three plants one each in Visakhapatnam, Chittoor and Katni in Madhya Pradesh for production of the cement putty, textures, primers and emulsions. The total cost of establishing the plants would be Rs 46 crore, the company management said.
The installed capacity of the each plant would be 30,000 tons. Currently, the company has three factories in Telangana and one in AP. The total annual production capacity of these plants is 2.50 lakh tons. The company management has decided to set up the three plants to see the company among one of the top most chemical companies in the nation. Moreover, the company is expanding its retail network and initiating measures in this regard. As part of the exercise the management of the company has decided to upscale its production capacity.
