For the second time in a row, King Johnson Koyyada was elected unanimously as a president of the SMR Vinay City Flat owners welfare Association (Scowa-8) in the Miyapur area of Hyderabad. Prasad Gorantla was elected general secretary, Sitaram Korukonda was elected vice-president and Tummala Sharat Babu treasurer. In Scowa block-8, the office bearers are Secretary-Suresh, Joint Secretary-Satish and Treasurer-Navin. This community has five blocks, for blocks 1 and 3 Sindhu will officiate as Secretary while Prabal officiates as joint secretary. Similarly, for block-2A, Ashok Somani will be the Secretary and Ankur Agarwal will be the joint secretary. For the block-2C, Deepak Khatri will be the secretary and Himansu Samanta will be the joint secretary. However, for the block-2B Himabindu will officiate as the secretary.
Speaking after his unanimous election as the president, King Johnson Koyyada said that the residents re-elected his team for the second time unanimously for the good work done by the team for two years. He vowed that he and his team would develop SMR Vinay City further in the next two years and necessary plans have been on the drawing board. On a five and half-acre site opposite to the D-Mart in Miyapur, SMR Holdings developed SMR Vinay City high-rise gated community and handed it over to the residents 10 years ago.
The community has 500 Plus flats. The main attraction of the community is its mini-cricket ground. Also, it has a basketball court, tennis court, indoor badminton court and the facility to play table tennis. Besides, it has a swimming pool, air-conditioned gymnasium, party halls, guest rooms, restaurants and so on. Because of better maintenance during the past 10 years, the demand for flats in the community is very high from prospective tenants. Currently a 2BHK flat is let out for Rs 25,000 a month, while a 3 BHK flat commands a monthly rent of Rs 30,000.
