A single flat was sold for a staggering Rs 90 crore. This One flat.. Rs. 90 crore transaction took place in Mumbai, the financial capital of India, known as the hub for expensive real estate in the country. The purchase happened in Palais Royal, the tallest building in India, located in Mumbai.
Amit Rathi, Co-Founder of QiCAP.AI, bought a luxury apartment on the 62nd floor of the building, which spans 7,685 square feet, for Rs 90 crore. This works out to a price of Rs 1.17 lakh per square foot. As part of this deal, five car parking spaces were also included. The registration of the property took place on March 22, and Rs 5.39 crore was paid as stamp duty, along with a Rs 30,000 registration fee.
The Royal Palais, located in Worli, Central Mumbai, stands at an impressive height of about 320 meters, making it the tallest building in India. Although construction started back in 2007, several challenges caused delays, and work stopped for a few years. The construction is now nearing completion.
Additionally, in 2011, Lokhandwala Infrastructure started a residential project named Minerva, located opposite the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Standing at over 300 meters tall, the Minerva project was completed in 2023.
