Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit acquired a 5,384 sft sea-view luxury flat for Rs 48 crore. The apartment is located on the 53rd floor of India Bulls Blue project located on Dr E Moses road in Worli area of Mumbai. One can have a spectacular view of the Arabian sea and also the Mahalakshmi Race Course from the flat. The cost worked out to be at Rs 90,000 per sft, which is the highest price quoted for residential projects in the country this year.
The actress paid Rs 2.4 crore towards the stamp duty. The project was registered on Sep 28. In fact, she is supposed to pay 5% of the cost of the project as the stamp duty. However, under women’s quota she got 1% rebate. As part of the sale deed, she is entitled to get seven car parking slots. Last year, she took a 5,500 sft sea-view flat on the 29th floor of the building on lease for a period of three years. It is still not clear whether she would continue her lease or cancel in view of acquiring a flat in the building.
