A major land deal took place in India’s financial capital, Mumbai. Renowned Bollywood actor Jitendra, along with his family, sold 2.39 acres of land in the Andheri area of Mumbai for Rs 855 crores. The property was sold through their family-owned companies, Pantheon Build Con Private Limited and Tushar Infra Developers Private Limited. The agreement was registered in May.
The 2.39 acres of land is divided into two adjacent parts. Currently, the site has three buildings spread over approximately 490,000 square feet. The land was purchased by NTT Global Data Centres and Cloud Infrastructure India Private Limited. The transaction involved payment of Rs 8.69 crore as stamp duty and Rs 30,000 as registration fees.

Earlier this year, Amitabh Bachchan sold a duplex apartment in Oshiwara for Rs. 83 crores, which he had bought in 2021 for Rs. 31 crores, earning a 168% profit. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha member Jaya Bachchan declared in her affidavit that the total assets of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan amount to Rs. 1,578 crores. A few months ago, Akshay Kumar sold an office space in Mumbai’s Lower Parel area for Rs 8 crores. He had purchased this property in 2020 for Rs 4.85 crores, thus making a 65% profit.
