Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan’s call to builders at CREDAI’s festival Statecon
CREDAI’s service to society appreciated
Helping people fulfill their dreams is a great matter of pride
State Governor Dr Tamilisai Sounderrajan has given a call to builders to construct affordable homes for all. Addressing the CREDAI’s festival Statecon as chief guest at Novotel hotel in Hyderabad on Thursday, she appealed to the builders to build homes affordable for the poor. Moreover, the homes should have adequate ventilation. The designs of homes should conserve energy.
Appreciating the CREDAI’s services to society, she noted that the youngest state of Telangana is progressing at rapid speed. The term real in real estate refers to a Latin term which means genuine, while the estate is a French word meaning status. In fact, real estate began in 1668. She appreciated CREDAI conducting blood donation camps, in her capacity also as a doctor. She suggested to builders to design book rooms in addition to 2BHK houses as people cannot go out during the pandemic situation so that they can stay back and read good books sitting pretty in the book rooms. Home does not symbolize mere cement and beams, but will have emotional attachment and symbolizes dreams of those who live in it and their dedication. Everyone aspires to build a home. “You are helping people fulfill their dreams of owning a house over their heads. It is a matter of great pride. I wish that the number of CREDAI chapters will increase further, crossing 20,” she remarked.
