The National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) in Maharashtra became stronger with the merger of Brihanmumbai Developers’ Association (BMA) and Central Developers’ Welfare Association (CMDWA) with it.There were over 750 members in the two associations. As they merged with NAREDCO the latter’s membership crossed 4000. CMDWA founder-president Dharmesh Chadda felt that the merger would give scope for more development of the real estate sector. NAREDCO national president Ranjan Bandelkar said that a committee has been constituted to resolve the problems of developers like GST on re-development of leased flats, input tax credit and cluster redevelopment and so on.
