The globally renowned firm Savills has projected the top 10 cities worldwide by 2033 in its Growth Hubs Index. Hyderabad has been recognised among the world’s fastest-growing cities. The Savills Growth Hubs Index ranks cities based on GDP, personal wealth, population growth, and migration, providing an assessment of economic prosperity.

Four cities from India have made it to the top ten list of the world’s fastest-growing cities. Bengaluru ranks first, while the capital city Delhi holds the third position. Hyderabad has secured the fifth spot, and India’s commercial capital, Mumbai, is in eighth place. The Savills Growth Hubs Index estimates that these four Indian cities will achieve significant GDP growth of over 68% by 2033. It highlights that emerging tech hubs, a skilled youth population, and a robust workforce will play a crucial role in placing Hyderabad among the future cities of the world. The index suggests that urbanisation is likely to increase in the coming days, as talented individuals from rural areas migrate to cities.
