Sound healing is very important in Shweta Tripathi’s dream home

Shweta Tripathi Sharma always radiates such a positive aura — she does see herself buying a new house sometime soon. But we were interested in knowing her interpretations of some symbols of prosperity, success, and good luck in lieu of her dream.

“I do see myself buying a dream home very soon — it’s on my list. More than how my home is going to look, the feeling of it is going to be ultimate. Before becoming an actress, I was a design student, so I have that innate relationship with creativity that’s most certainly going to help me while constructing my dream home. I like aesthetics!” said the Mirzapur actress.

She wants to make it feel more inviting and showcase her individual flair. The actress continued, “My father is an IAS officer. We were in Delhi when he was assigned to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for nearly three years. So, I went along! Now our residential house was reminiscent of Britishers. The “jhula” became a memory for me. Holi parties were one of my fondest memories of our Delhi home! I can’t forget the Andaman home — three huge courtyards with our own vegetables. It felt like we were living in a cottage. There were rabbits and bats on the terrace!”

Then there was a span of almost ten years when she lived all by herself in Bombay. Post-marriage, she has shifted to JUHU. “Lavish is good, but maintaining it is a task. I have made my own shrine! Social media is busy selling us everything; don’t get carried away. Recognise your statement pieces! These unnecessary hoardings and billboards consume a lot of our mind space. If I do not like a piece, I will immediately gift it to someone else. Music is also very important in my dream home, apart from aromatherapy. For example, she has a lot of sound bars because she believes in sound healing,” added the production assistant turned actress.

There is this bungalow in Juhu; she wants her dream home to be commodious like that with a 24×7 running kitchen. And a place in that bungalow encouraging only creative conversations Art and cinema — she believes in them! Another dream home that she’d like to build would be on the hills, for sure. Furthermore, she shared in conclusion, “Comedian and actress Mallika Dua’s home gives me inspiration. My best friend is so talented! She has a very keen eye. My Delhi room had become such a neutral space that I had to do it again. I collaborated with Asian Paints, and Mallika helped me.”
