Rana’s home has everything one dreams of

Go all white and neutral to feel big, they say. But Tollywood superstar Rana Daggubati feels slightly different from the others. He is a lover of crisp, want more flavor in a small space. He was ready to experiment to reveal his creativity a few years ago! That luxury of space is what he calls Rana Daggubati’s dream home.
Just like his films, even his house is unique and different from the rest.

The actor has got a reading room full of books in his work and he calls that space his “solitude space”. He explained, “My home is no less than a den — I challenged the decor of it and turned it into a favoring bold, gutsy home. A specially designed “solitude corner” is where I prefer reading my cinematic books. It highlights the good and bad in me! The prospect of embracing of who am I as an actor is what that corner offers me.” The actor, whose next Rana Naidu with Venkatesh Daggubati is soon to release on Netflix, said his house was designed in a meticulous way to even all his friends and family members. We all know how big of a party freak Rana is and he proved it once again with his bar set up in the house.

There was a couple surefire ways to play up some of the features in his bungalow and he tried each one of those. “Created a bar, to hangout with my t-town buffs. It created a gathering space for summer nights. It’s more of a functional feature of my home! You’ll find the top picks in it. We discuss a lot about movies! Now, because my father is a football fanatic — travelling across the world we all get a football merch for him and place it inside the bar arena. And my hobby of cutting bottles made me realize I can decorate my space in an even more appealing way. So I did!”

Inspiring productivity, his office room despite being in the household set him off from distractions. Not just his entrance, even an entire wall in his house is filled with nostalgia. “The entire wall is “nostalgia” — all the film posters. The films that made me Rana Daggubati. “Joker” was the coolest character of our world cinema, so it had to be there in my house!” His home is defined by bold lines, defined spaces, function blending with form. “Trends keep changing and unless you keep a track of them, you might just get left far behind. I like to keep up with the times. That’s why my solitude corner is made of distressed wood! Soon the roost will be ruled by some tropical prints inside my house. And, some edgy aesthetic for my office room.”
