Mumbai tops property registrations. Last year, a record 1,26,907 units were registered. This is 4 percent higher than the previous year. Real estate consultant Knight Frank India revealed that 1,22,035 unit registrations took place in 2022. In 2023, the state government generated an income of Rs. 10,869 crore through property registrations. This is 22 percent more than the previous year. In December alone, 12,255 units were registered under Brihanmumbai Corporation. As many as 9,367 units were registered in December 2022. Residential units account for 80 percent of the total registrations.
