Property registrations dip in Hyderabad

In June, the registration of properties and also their sales were comparatively less in Hyderabad real estate market. In June 5,566 units of apartments were registered netting Rs 2,898 crore to government as against registering 5877 properties helping the government earn Rs 2994 crore in May, according to a report from the real estate agency Knight Frank. In June 2022, the number of registrations carried was 5,411. During the corresponding month this year, the increase in the number of registration is only minor, 3%.

Previously, the share of Medchal-Malkajgiri district in the total registration was 46%, while that of the Ranga Reddy district was 38% and Hyderabad district was 16%. Since elections were around the corner, the intending property buyers have adopted a wait and watch attitude unable to read the future real estate situation, impacting the property registrations, according to factors identified for the slow progress of registrations by experts.
