Haryana RERA has taken action against a realtor who started the project without registering with RERA. A fine of Rs 50 lakh has been imposed on the company for violating RERA regulations. Coral Realtors has started construction on a commercial project named Metro World Mall in Sector 56, Gurugram. However, it was advertised without registration in RERA. According to Section 3 of the RERA Act, no promoter shall advertise, market, book, or invite persons to purchase any plot, apartment, building, or any part thereof without registration with RERA.
However, Coral Realtors has started marketing its project without registering it with RERA. This was taken seriously by Haryana RERA. As a result, a fine of Rs. 50 lakh was imposed on the company. RERA said in its order that Coral Realtors will issue the registration certificate after paying the amount.
