The recent CREDAI real estate investment conclave opined that the Hyderabad real estate market is going to attract investments for the next 10 years. The CREDAI-Hyderabad in association with the investment banking and financial services organization UPWISERY for the first time held a seminar with the participation of financial experts in the city on investments. Fund managers from reputed financial institutions took part in the event. Anuj Kapoor officiated as moderator for the programme.
CEO of Motilal Oswal Real Estate Sharad Mittal told the seminar that his organization invested in 15 real estate projects in Hyderabad and the city is attracting significant share of investments from various institutions. Cosmopolitan culture and diversified financial issues are also some of the factors for the city attracting huge investments. Sundaram Alternatives Director Karthik Atreya rated his firm’s investments in Hyderabad realty market as wonderful. He appreciated the commitment of Hyderabad realty developers in completing the projects on time.
Tishman Speyer head of credit wing Vaibhav Agarwal expressed concern over increasing rates of interest on loans affecting the project cost. However, he opined the market for residential properties will increase further on constant demand for properties. The firm’s India head Parvesh Sarma noted that MNCs are keen to go over to Hyderabad. Lion’s share of the office space is occupied by the MNCs. That is why the international developers like his firm always scout for more and more opportunities for growth.
UPWISERY founder Anuj Kapoor said that his firm successfully completed over 50 funding operations in Hyderabad in construction sector. The city has all possibilities to emerge as a global city. The institutional investors are keen to invest in Hyderabad. CREDAI-Hyderabad chapter president P Ramakrishna Rao appreciated the organizers of the investors’ conclave. CREDAI-Hyderabad chapter general secretary V Rajasekhar Reddy felicitated the chief guests of the evening who graced the occasion.
Good administration, creation of infrastructural amenities at a brisk pace, will attract investments into the realty sector for the next year. He appreciated the investor confidence in Hyderabad market. Over 150 local developers, including Prashant Menon and over 20 international developers and international fund managers took part in the event.
