HMDA to auction sites from May 22 to 24

· 218 sites to be brought under the hammer

· Sites are located in Bachupally and Medipally

The HMDA is ready to auction the developed house sites in Bachupalli and Medipalli areas of the city from May 22 to 24. In all, it is going to bring 133 plots in Bachupally and 85 in Medipally under the auctioner’s hammer. Having tasted success in auctioning of the government lands, the HMDA issued the notification against to auction the lands. It fixed the square yard in Bachupally as Rs 25,000 and in Medipally, it is Rs 32,000. The area of the plots in Bachupally ranges between 265 square yards to 576 square yards, while the areas range between 230 and 643 square yards in Medipally.

The intending bidders have to pay EMD of Rs 1 lakh and register names to participate in the auction. The increment of the bidding price should vary by at least Rs 500, it said. It promised to develop facilities like roads, electricity and other amenities in 18 months.
