The Goldman Sachs, reputed US-based investment banker and financial services firm, acquired nine floors with a total plinth area of 3.5 lakh sft in Hyderabad on lease with a monthly lease of Rs 4.14 crore. The duration of the lease would be 117 months. It entered into the lease agreement with Deva Bhoomi Realtors Pvt Ltd. The company has deposited Rs 35.2 crore with the Deva Bhoomi for the purpose.
In Knowledge City, a 5.09 lakh sft building, which has 12 floors, was built. The structure has been named as Opel Block. The Goldman Sachs took on lease from ground floor to eight floor in the building. The lease is put at Rs 118 per sft for 36 months. It will increase to Rs 128.2 sft for the next 36 months. Afterwards, the lease amount will increase to Rs 139.9 per sft. The lease for the subsequent 24 months has been fixed as Rs 89.9 per sft. Afterwards, it will come down to Rs 103.4 per sft.
