Police have registered a case against the builder who showed a layout plan before selling the plot and then changed it and cheated. Manish Kumar, executive engineer, PS PCL, Bathinda, Punjab, lodged a complaint with the police.
Manish bought a plot in Sector 123 in 2013 from renowned builder, Sunny Enclave owner Jarnail Singh Bajwa. He bought the flat with the intention of building a house there. In this regard, the total payments were completed in 2014. However, later in 2016, Bajwa changed the layout without Manish’s knowledge, atleast without informing him. As a result, Manish was unable to build a house in the new layout. So, He turned to the police in this connection. Police have registered a case against Jarnail Singh Bajwa along with his son Sukhdev Singh Bajwa alias Sunny and their HR manager Deepak Sharma on charges of cheating, fraud, criminal conspiracy, misrepresentation of project papers and layout plans. Sukhdev was arrested and later released on bail. Jarnail is on the run and will be arrested soon, police said.
