Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who focused on cleaning up the HMDA, should pay special attention to the TS RERA Authority. The TS RERA Authority, which is full of retired employees, is not focused on solving the irregularities in the real estate sector. Ever since this organisation was established in our state in 2018, the poor, common, and middle-class people who bought plots and flats in the pre-launch were cheated by illegal builders. However, these authorities did not care much about finding solutions to these problems. Victims say that if any people come to tell their problems, the TS RERA chairman and officials send them back by giving some lectures. Hence, CM Revanth Reddy must overview TS RERA and cleanse the irregularities in it.
Fraud from 2018!
Since the formation of TS RERA in 2018, buyers have been cheated after buying pre-launches from various companies. For example, people invested in companies like Sahitya, Jaya Group, Bhunanteza, GSR Group, Maitri Projects, JV Estates, Parijata Developers, etc. and lost crores of rupees. If TS RERA, which was established six years ago in the state of Telangana, had not even bothered to solve the problems here, this organisation is just wasting time and not focusing on solving problems. They don’t care which companies are doing pre-launches, even openly on social media. They are not given notice. Even if notices were sent, they failed to confirm if the information provided by the said builder was correct. Despite the formation of the Congress government, there has been no change in the way TS RERA is operating.
No one is innocent!
In Hyderabad, many builders belonging to associations like Credai Hyderabad, Naredco Telangana, the Telangana Builders Federation, and the Telangana Developers Association are still doing pre-launch business successfully. However, why does TS RERA not take any action against them? What is the use of complaining to TS RERA after losing all money by investing in prelaunch? Complaining to RERA after losing money is of no use! Hence, real estate companies should be prevented from doing pre-launches. A fine should be imposed on those companies.
Credai Hyderabad builders are also in this line..
Some Credai Hyderabad-based companies are selling flats in pre-launches. It is unfortunate that a company like CyberCity Developers is involved. The Incor Group, however, is simultaneously selling villas in the pre-launch by advertising on Facebook. And Prestige Estates, has become the address for pre-launches in Hyderabad. Many companies like this are doing pre-launch activities in Hyderabad, but TS RERA seems to be taking a cosy nap. Somehow, RERA has given notices to 15 companies in the past and didn’t do anything later. No one knows what happened to those notices.
The Buildox is the worst!
And in the matter of BUILDOX, many expressed anguish over the way TS RERA was functioning. Buildox started construction on disputed land, and TS RERA did not even bother, although innocent people paid crores of rupees. There is no restriction on pre-launch sales. On the day when TS RERA warned people against buying in Buildox, the company made some pre-launch announcements on social media on the same day. This clearly shows to what extent Buildox has taken TS RERA seriously. Also, if all the pre-launch companies do not care about TS RERA, what is the use of that company? The victims are asking. All in all, the aspiring home buyers want CM Revanth Reddy to clean up TS RERA in full on the lines of HMDA.
