Making Hyderabad Future Ready

The Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure Project (HCITI) is a massive undertaking aimed at transforming Hyderabad’s infrastructure. Making Hyderabad Future Ready The Government has accorded administrative sanction for taking up 23 large-scale infrastructure projects with a total estimated cost of Rs.5,942 crore. The HCITI project focuses on several key areas, including:

Transformative Infrastructure Improvements: Construction of grade separators, flyovers, and underpasses to ease congestion at critical intersections. The Government accorded administrative sanction to take up 6 grade separators around KBR Park with an estimated cost of Rs.1090 Crore.

• Road-Widening Projects: Expansion of major roads to accommodate the rising volume of vehicles, including roads in Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, and other hightraffic areas.
• Tunnel Corridors and Advanced Storm Water Drainage Systems:
Introduction of tunnel corridors and advanced stormwater drainage systems to enhance flood management and ensure long-term road sustainability.
• Pedestrian-Friendly Infrastructure:
Development of pedestrian-friendly infrastructure to improve safety and walkability. The project’s first phase is set to begin soon, with several projects are under tender process.
