Archana Iyer shares her dream home vision: A Haven of Memories and Aesthetics

In an exclusive conversation with The Real Estate Guru, actress Archana Iyer, known for her roles in “Meenakshi Sundareshwar” “Good News” and “Breathe,” opens up about her lifelong dream of owning the perfect home. With a childhood marked by frequent relocations due to her father’s profession, Archana fondly recalls the memories she made in each house and the lasting friendships forged along the way.

“I used to live in a rented house when I was very young, and as I grew up, we changed a few houses depending on my dad’s work,” she reminisces, adding, “Every time we moved, I made lots of friends and cherished every moment with them. Even now, passing by my old house brings back a flood of memories, and the friends I made there are still dear to me.”

For Archana, creating her own sanctuary is not just about aesthetics but also about finding solace amidst a hectic schedule. “I love doing my house on my own, from painting to lighting to every detail,” she explains. “Your home is the only thing that gives you peace after a super hectic shoot, and I love keeping it very aesthetic and special,” continued the actress who is looking forward to do a variety of work in the industry.

With dreams of a spacious villa adorned with pastel interiors and antique furniture, Archana emphasizes her passion for cooking, making the kitchen a focal point of her future home. “I want my kitchen to be the heart of the house, where I can spend most of my time,” she shares, further adding, “And when it comes to my bedroom, I want it to be peaceful with dim lighting and attractive paintings.”

Reflecting on her attachment to Hyderabad, Archana reveals her desire to build her first home in the city. “Hyderabad has my heart, and I want to live my happy life in my dream home there,” she says.

When asked about her approach to interior design, Archana emphasizes the importance of personal touch. “Interior designing is everything, and I love doing it on my own because it’s your home, and you can do anything and everything in it,” she asserts. “I want to design it as beautifully as possible.”

As she embarks on this journey of homeownership, Archana is determined to infuse her dream home with positivity and warmth. “I’ve had my fair share of changes, so I want to be a little extra special with my detailing,” she concludes. “It should speak volumes and radiate positivity as soon as you step in.”
