Miyapur to Gandimaisamma Road Widening will complete by 2025 June
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has undertaken several key infrastructure projects to enhance urban mobility, improve public amenities, and promote sustainable urban spaces. In 2024, road widening projects costing Rs.200 crore have been initiated for key routes, including Dabeerpura to Nagabowli, Shaik Faiz Kaman to Dabeerpura Flyover, Bada Bazar Road (Bada Bazar to Bhavani Nagar), and Shastripuram Junction to Falaknuma Bus Depot via Vattepally.

To further enhance traffic circulation, junction improvement proposals are being implemented in the limits of Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda Commissionerates. In 2024, 90 junctions were proposed for improvement, with 74 approved and 16 under preparation.
The estimated cost of land acquisition for these projects is Rs.233 Crore. The road widening from Miyapur ‘X’ Roads to Gandimaisamma ‘X’ Junction, at Rs.135 Crore, is expected to be completed by June 2025, as per the socio economic survey released by Telangana Government on wednesday.
