AI City construction in Future City

The Telangana government is taking rapid steps towards building a future city. With a clear plan in place, it is moving forward with the construction of a Fourth City, comparable to Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad. The government aims to develop a magnificent city in the Rangareddy district at Mucherla, seizing every opportunity along the way. As part of this initiative, the foundation stone for the Young India Skill University has already been laid, and construction work is progressing swiftly. Admissions for various courses at the Skill University have already begun, and the state government, under Chief Minister Revanth, is determined to complete the university building within the next year in the future city.

The Telangana government is now focusing on the construction of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) City in the Future City. To achieve this, the government has signed an agreement with the World Trade Center Association (WTCA). With the expectation that AI will dominate the IT sector in the coming years, Chief Minister Revanth’s government has decided to establish the best AI city in the world within the Fourth City. The foundation stone for the AI City is planned to be laid in March in the Future City. The IT department is working rapidly to make the necessary arrangements. The Telangana government is taking steps to build the AI City across a total area of 200 acres.

International companies are coming forward to make significant investments in the AI City to be built in the Future City. ST Telemedia, a global company headquartered in Singapore, has already expressed its readiness to set up a data center in the AI City. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the state government for establishing a data center campus in Meerkhanpet, near Mucherla, in the Fourth City. They plan to build an AI-based data center in the Future City with a capacity of 100 megawatts, investing around Rs 3,500 crores. Additionally, the state government is in talks with companies like Microsoft and Google, who are also planning to set up their data centers in the AI City. It is estimated that investments of around Rs 20,000 crores will flow into the AI City in the Fourth City.

The Telangana government has already announced the establishment of a world-class medical city in the Future City. With the land acquired for the Pharma City, the government plans to complete the rest of the land acquisition, making thousands of acres available. The focus will be on planned development in this area. Along with the Skill University, AI City, Medical City, Sports City, Tourism Hub, and IT Data Centers, many other sectors are also set to have developments in the Future City. As a result, all eyes are now on the Future City. It is anticipated that, in the coming days, the middle class and upper-middle class will look towards the Fourth City to establish permanent residences.

The Telangana government has already decided to set up a special authority for the Future City. This special authority will cover areas including Narepalli, Hafeezpur, Majidpur, Adibatla, Dandumailaram, Ibrahimpatnam Khalsa, Kongarakalan, Kappapahad, Firozghuda, Maheshwaram Mandal’s Kongarhhurd, Kandukur Mandal’s Rachaloor, Timmayipalli, Tummaloor, Gudooru, Gummadavelli, Lemoor, Madhapur, Mankhal, Panjagud, and Meerkhanpet villages. For the connectivity of the Future City, locals are expressing happiness about the construction of the Greenfield road. They believe that the arrival of new businesses in their area will lead to a significant rise in land prices. Currently, the price of land per acre ranges from Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 3 crore, and it is expected to rise further in the coming days.
