Okay, one doesn’t always own a sprawling estate, complete with a tennis court, a private beach, twelve bedrooms, and an at-home movie theater. ‘Vakeel Saab’ fame Ananya Nagalla neither! Which is why we were fully obsessed in over knowing her desires for a gorgeous home. Hoping to purchase the best estate down to an art, let’s go for dream home stalking with Ananya Nagalla who’ll be next seen in Samantha starrer Shakunthalam! “I was born and brought up at a place that was madly surrounded by plants and trees. Thereafter, my family and I moved to this plush city. Despite living in the most progressive cities of all time, I can’t forget the place where I have spent all my childhood. With no air & noise pollution, it led me to a halo of purity.”
During the exclusive conversation, we noticed that Ananya is all about subtracting unnecessary frills and the things from her decor and keeping things simple. And she is turning to minimalist decor as a refreshing way of neat, organized and clutter-free living! “Simple living and high thinking is my go-to mantra in this life. If I had all the money in this world, I wouldn’t have stopped myself from building a bungalow for me. Space, lighting and objects play equally important roles in my dream home. My style demands me to pare down furnishings to the bare essentials so that I am left with a set of curated objects that deliver maximum impact. My style is bold, functional and highly memorable — I am far from being boring,” she added.
Fond of bungalows, the actress finds the independent home to be a beautiful charming property. She continued, “As everyone is aware that I was brought up in a very tiny home hence now as a star I desire to have a huge property to my name. Greenery will add a more loveable element to it. I would love to grow my own food in the property that I own. Basically, when I retire, I’ll all over again move out from this cosmopolitan city and buy a property near farms.” The actress further reveals that she’s immensely attached to her mother and hence her dream home is so very incomplete without her mum’s presence! She’s sure no matter how expensive the bungalow will be, her mother would surely know how to make it a place of living for a family to grow and laugh together. “Even if I deliver two kids, I want my mother to be around us. The one place I don’t forget to mark my attendance at whichever home I’ll be living in is my balcony. I want the sun rays to spread as much as they can on my face, I love mending my future thoughts there.
Secondly, I like these new sets of couches that are coming up in the market! An avid watcher of movies, so the best comfy couch has to be there either in my bedroom or hall.” Ananya finds something unique about a house that sits in the middle of nature! The atmosphere is peaceful and very refreshing for her. She shares further, “Nowadays I am obsessed with yoga and I would love to settle down in Rishikesh further in life. And the four main factors that define my dream home could be gateway to sunlight because I don’t want to be depressed in my own dream home, can’t live with heavy noise around me at all, moreover the vibe of my dream home should be at par with me. Technically speaking, I may also take practical reasons into consideration too. For example, the distance to the nearest store.” Having the knack to decorate her dream home all by herself, we won’t be seeing Ananya Nagalla hiring any interior designer. She plans on building a house in an area that allows panoramic views of nature or simply in an area that has trees and vegetation nearby. She also feels it’s no use to have such a beautiful home if the windows are small and don’t really allow you to admire the beautiful landscape and entry to sunlight. So large windows are a must-have in her case!
The one celeb home that she admires is ‘Nishabdam’ fame Anjali’s home all due to the trendy vibes it had given to Ananya when she visited her recently. Lastly, witnessing the lows and highs of the real estate scene in Hyderabad, she tells us, “It’s growing rapidly, in the next blink there’s another high-rise building coming up in Hyderabad. I still remember, wherever the infrastructure was like a rotten factory, there were luxurious apartments there. Our city is extremely crowded with multiple ethnicities, living style has changed and traffic has increased, however that’s how you rise to one of the best cities to live in the index or surveys that happens every year.”
