Ktr inaugurated seven factories in the Medical Devices Park, Sultanpur on Wednesday. This is a big milestone for India’s largest such industrial park, which I had the pleasure of launching 4 years ago. Promea Therapeutics, Huwel Life Sciences, Akriti Oculoplasty, Arka Engineers, SVP Techno Engineers, Elvikon and Rees Medilife opened their factories today. These companies would be engaged in a range of activities including in-vitro diagnostics, point of care devices and analysers, ocular implants, surgical and dental implants, wound dressing, etc They are investing to the tune of INR 265 crores leading to generation of around 1300 jobs. Telangana life sciences industry is growing to the tune of $100 Billion by 2030.
