Real Estate Guru Exclusive Interview: Famed Tollywood actress Anupama Paramwesaran is the new talk of the town for her upcoming mass movie ‘Rowdy Boys’. The actress who has given numerous hits in the Telugu industry, by confinement is actually a Malayali. Taking her ‘Malayali’ roots forward, when the Real Estate Guru got in touch with her to know what her dream abode would look like, we appreciated the way she was so fond of a captivating time-honored house in Kerala, surrounded by the beautiful palm trees.
An aficionado of a combo of two colors only, probably that could be white & brown for her, the ‘Premam’ actress would love to occupy herself fully with those two color palettes in the house. “I am akin to minimalistic furnishings at home. My home is constructed in a typical Keralite design, old & conventional. Taking the culture forward is what I believe in while designing my dream home. If we are situated in Rome, & it will only make sense to build the house Roman style.
It should blend with your culture or the place you have chosen to reside at. Simple yet attractive,” she informs. Not an enthusiast of spending a hell lot of money only on the interior designing of the house, instead the actress focuses on the kind of interiors that may give her some sanity. “I hardly buy branded stuff; I stay away from all this. It is my last priority! Design, colors & an affordable price is what I will look at first,” added the ‘A Aa’ fame where she was seen alongside Samantha Ruth & Nithin.
It is very easy to assume that if an actress, she must be all about luxuries however Anupama goes on to deny this & tells us how she is far away from the luxurious knacks personally. Pursuing comfort over luxury is what defines her dream home, she says. Asking her where her interests lie, will it be a villa or a flat or any other structure, she responds, “Earlier she was an admirer of independent homes. Since birth, she has been living in one however with times changing; her interests are also changing for the better. Nowadays, she has liked the way apartments are flourishing. It makes you feel secure, could be because I am so used to hotel life while travelling for work.
Though, the foremost choice will definitely be an independent home in an isolated area where I can hear the birds chirping.” This is exactly how Anupama Parameswaran looks forward to being in life! What is home for her? The only place where you can find reassurance, she said. Clearing it very firmly that there is a difference between a home & a house; she has made Hyderabad her home now. “I have been an active participant in the Telugu film industry, people know me here & vice versa. This city gives me the much-needed tranquility. Everything is accessible for me so easily in this city that it doesn’t let me go back to my home-town sometimes.”
Having said that, the actress is also looking for a third place to build another house due to privacy reasons. She wants to spend time at a place where nobody recognises; well it’s one of the many reasons for actors to find their state of calm due to the added popularity that they bring with them. They need space too. She wants to be treated like any other individual walking on the lanes.
Four factors to look for in Anupama’s dream architecture as suggested by the actor would be, “Comfort, a devoted place for plantation helmed by my mum, no stacked furniture, etc. I prefer designing my home myself, nobody would know better than you. Even for my former home, I made sure I take out time to go buy furniture by myself with my mom so that we can tell our guests what the essence behind it is.
