Shraddha Kapoor, who is enjoying the success of her film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, has rented a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Juhu area for Rs 6 lakh per month. The apartment, spread across 3,928.86 square feet, is rented for one year, with an advance rent payment of Rs 72 lakhs. The rental agreement includes four car parking spaces. The transaction, registered on October 16, involved a stamp duty of Rs 30,000 and a registration fee of Rs 1,000.
Many Bollywood celebrities buy properties in Mumbai, but if they can’t find one in their preferred locations, they rent. Karan Johar rented a property in Pali Hill for Rs. 8 lakhs per month on a three-year lease. Actor Imran Khan and his friend Lehla Washington rented a flat in Bandra from Johar for Rs 9 lakhs per month, also for three years. Imran Khan’s three-story apartment in Carter Road’s Cliff Pat came with a security deposit of Rs 27 lakhs.
