CREDAI celebrated its Foundation Day with grandeur. The event, held on November 25 at the Marriott Hotel in Delhi, was attended by 500 delegates, with Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal as the chief guest. During the event, he unveiled a special edition of the CREDAI Coffee Table Book. A sand sculpture created by renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik was unveiled to honor past chairpersons and presidents of CREDAI.
The occasion also recognised all those who contributed to CREDAI’s success over the last 25 years. Additionally, an agreement was signed between CREDAI and NABL to set up temporary labs at construction sites. Two sessions were also held on the role of real estate in achieving sustainable urbanization and balanced growth, and in making India a developed nation by 2047.
Credai to upgrade 1,000 schools…
On the occasion of its 25th Foundation Day, Credai has announced that it will upgrade 1,000 government schools across the country. These schools will feature smart classrooms in partnership with a voluntary organisation, along with providing students with access to clean water and modern toilets. They also pledged to work towards building green buildings and planting trees to enhance urban forests.
Credai President Elect Shekhar Patel stated that each school will be allocated Rs 11 lakh for the setup of smart classrooms, water facilities, and sanitation. He also mentioned that an agreement has already been made with a voluntary organisation for this initiative. In the first phase, 50 schools in Gujarat will be upgraded. Credai Association President Boman Irani shared that the organization also plans to provide skill development to 5,00,000 construction workers across the country.”
