Tollywood actress Riya Suman likes modest looks, which is what she values because elaborate and cluttered designs are now viewed as loud and gaudy. In an exclusive interview with REG NEWS, we try to learn everything there is to know about the Hitler fame and how she envisions her dream house. For those of you who don’t know, she made her screen debut in the highly successful Telugu movie Majnu!
The actress, who has some captivating looks, says, “I don’t own a house yet, but my earliest memories of home are filled with warmth and comfort.” She is clearly enjoying the success of her new film, Hitler, starring Vijay Antony. “I can still clearly recall the easy pleasures of playing in the backyard, the aroma of home-cooked meals and the comforting feeling of being surrounded by family. Despite its tiny size, I had the impression that it was the center of the universe. My understanding of the value of a home—not only as a physical location, but also as a haven of love and belonging—was formed by those early experiences.”
Her taste in design is sophisticated, with pieces composed of premium materials that should endure a lifetime! “A minimalistic design, in my opinion, fosters functionality, clarity and serenity. By concentrating on the important things, it makes room for breathing and promotes a clutter-free atmosphere that may change with my own demands. Although ornate décor might have an eye-catching effect, it frequently takes away from simplicity and overpowers the area. Minimalism offers classic elegance without going overboard by striking the ideal balance between beauty and usefulness,” said Riya, who went on to appear in the 2018 film Paper Boy, which debuted to acclaim from both critics and viewers.
The actress shared with us some of the many other insights she had to offer: “If I had all the money in the world, I would definitely choose a villa. The large rooms, which include a garden and outdoor living areas ideal for relaxing, strike a mix between luxury and seclusion. Using natural light, eco-friendly materials and smart home technology, I would stress a tasteful yet comfortable design. In order to combine comfort and contemporary design, I would design areas for work and play. A villa is the perfect size for a fulfilled life because it offers a private getaway without being overly secluded.” That’s an intriguing idea, isn’t it? Oh, by all means, follow cues!
The wealthy but modest girl shares, “My dream home would be a serene, spacious retreat, filled with natural light and surrounded by nature,” in response to our following question. “It would feature a modern kitchen where I could cook and host guests, wide windows providing breathtaking views and a comfortable reading corner. The design would use earthy colours and ecological materials to combine comfort with minimalism. The perfect environment would have a quiet home office for productivity and a serene garden or rooftop area for contemplation.”
She continues, giving more details: “The living room is where I would most like to spend the most time. It’s the center of the house, where I may unwind, read, or have discussions with loved ones. The area is adaptable, making it ideal for entertaining guests or relaxing after a demanding day. It’s the perfect place to spend quality time because it has comfortable chairs and plenty of natural light.”
Where does Riya want to put her dream home on the global map? The MenToo fame responded, saying, “I would build my dream home in a serene, natural setting where the mountains meet the sea. The setting would encourage creativity and relaxation with its serene ambiance and stunning views. My idea involves a sustainable design that blends in with the surrounding environment. Being close to thriving towns would allow for personal getaways in the great outdoors while also fostering connection and culture. A satisfying living environment that nurtures the mind and spirit would result from striking this balance between involvement and tranquility.”
Later in the conversation, we discovered that interior design is crucial to giving the actress a space that is both practical and aesthetically beautiful. “Although I respect the experience of qualified designers, I also think that individuality and originality are important. I can express my uniqueness and meet my demands by creating my own space. But I also acknowledge that experts may improve the overall design by contributing insightful knowledge about colour theory, trends and space optimisation. For the greatest outcomes, I ultimately think a balanced strategy that incorporates both professional and subjective advice is necessary.”
Ellen DeGeneres’s Beverly Hills home is one celebrity residence that she finds admirable! Its distinctive fusion of contemporary architecture and organic features fosters a calm ambiance. Ellen’s passion for both nature and design is evident in the utilisation of open areas, expansive windows and colourful gardens. The solar panels on the house demonstrate the owners’ dedication to environmental responsibility. It’s not simply a luxurious house; Ellen’s personal touches, like her art collection and cosy outside areas, turn it into a cozy haven, feels Riya. All in all, our understanding was that our interviewee was drawn to something regarding environmental sustainability! It was clear from every reaction she provided to us over the phone.
“If I had to sum up my favourite celebrity friend’s house, it would be their welcoming, cozy decor that perfectly captures their essence. My ideal reading spot would be a warm, well-furnished space with lots of books, soothing lighting and plush furniture that inspires and stimulates creativity. This area would serve as a representation of their love of connection and storytelling, replete with sentimental items that detail their own path. Anyone would feel at home and encouraged to share dreams and tales because of the decor’s unique blend of elegance and authenticity,” the rising star concluded.
