In the construction of a house, Vastu plays an indispensable role. Until the construction of the house is completed from the land purchase stage, many people consider Vastu aspects. Even if some people don’t know much about Vastu, they still build their homes according to the expertise of Vastu. Vastu sutras
The plot should be purchased in square or rectangular shape. The should not be more or less corners. If there are any trees, they should be removed.
The Puja room should be in the northeast. The lamp should be in the southeast, and the water should be in the northeast.
Idols that have fallen or photos that have faded should be removed from the Puja room.
Photos of ancestors or should be placed in the south or southwest. They should not be placed in the Puja room or bedroom.
The living room, dining room, should be checked if they are in the north, east, or northeast.
The master bedroom should be in the south. There should be a large window in it.
The bathroom should be ventilated and should be in the northwest.
The overhead water tank should be in the northeast on the roof. Sump should be in southeast.
Statues placed in the house, photos are very important. Paintings depicting wars, philosophy, should not be in the house. If there is a storeroom, it should not be in the northeast.
The centre of the house is called the Brahmasthanam. There should not be any weights there. Pillars should not be there.
The study room should be in the west or northwest. Students should face west or north while studying. Vibrant colors like yellow, blue, orange, violet should be used in the study room. If the study room is in the south or southwest, it causes a lack of concentration for students.
To get more stability from the site, the width of the house and height should not be less than 1:2.
If there is any structure or ditch above your house, it should be towards the south or southwest. It works in tough times like a shock absorber. It keeps watching without taking any interest. When the conditions are tough, it provides moral support. Also, it provides good health and prosperity towards the south or southwest.
