Interesting things are coming to light regarding TS RERA. On the one hand, the RERA chairman imposes a fine and then leaves it unattended. It is known that in the previous BRS regime, the former chairman of RERA left pre-launch companies like Sahithi and Kesineni Developers as a first mistake. The buyers are questioning how they can let go of the people who defrauded the RERA regulations and illegally collected lakhs of rupees from innocent buyers and did not give them flats.
Doubts are being expressed everywhere about how many people TS Rera has left like that so far. How many people were given notices before TS RERA appointed its full-fledged chairman? How many people have been fined? How many people have been given notices since N Satyanarayana was appointed as Chairman? How many people have been fined should be informed.
Looking at the way RERA is working in the neighboring states is surprising. It is clear that the respective RERA authorities are working only to protect the buyers. That is why fines are being imposed on builders who do not follow the rules. However, there are criticisms that the TS RERA authority is working entirely as a support to the developers. Many frauds are being done by builders in the construction sector. Bringing in all the retirees and turning RERA into a rehabilitation centre will not be of any use. So, even now there is a need for the new government to fill RERA with new staff.
