When T-Govt will take a final Call on EV-charging stations?

Electric vehicles are gradually increasing on city roads, replacing petrol or diesel-driven vehicles. Consequently, installation of EV-charging stations has become mandatory. Only major players have been installing EV-charging stations in their projects, while the minor real estate players are not bothering about their installation.

In a latest development, the Nasik Municipal Corporation took a crucial decision on the issue. In apartment complexes where the number of flats exceeds 25, it is mandatory to install the EV-charging stations. It ruled that there should be a charging station for every 25 flats. Suppose, if there are 100 flats in an apartment complex, installation of four EV stations is mandatory.

In fact, the Telangana state should take stern measures on the issue as population of Hyderabad is rapidly increasing and also the number of electric vehicles. Several express the view that the government should take measures to install the charging stations not only in new projects but also in old gated communities. The number of charging stations should increase in tune with the increasing electric vehicles.
