Tiles with their prices ranging between Rs 50 per sft to Rs 1200 are available with Home 360 Degrees, according to the company managing partner Srinath Rathi. Further, he said that highlighters can be bought from Rs 5000 per sft to Rs 6000. The developers are choosing the tile varieties depending on the cost of the apartment, he said. Earlier, the builders used to utilise double-charge tiles, ceramic tiles in toilets, GVT Mat Finished Tiles in corridors. But apartment prices have gone up now. At some places, per sft is being sold between Rs 6000 and Rs 15,000. At some other places, the price is even higher, Rs 20,000 per sft. The developers are choosing brands according to the sales price of their units. The Home 360 Degrees stocks premium brands like Nexia, Simbola vitrified tiles, Stonelam and many more brands. The size of each vitrified tile has increased manifold. Earlier, the builders used to utilize 800x800 double charge tiles, 2x1 tiles in washrooms. As the market has increased, they are using only 81x60 tiles. There are many other Italian imported tile varieties available with our company, he said. The prices of these tiles range between Rs 450 and Rs 700 per sft. The company offers tiles varieties like in-door and outdoor tiles, wooden type, tropical series and so on, he explained.
