Uttar Pradesh RERA leads the chart in resolving complaints related to real estate across the country. According to Rajeev Kumar, chairman of UP RERA, the authority resolved 41 % of the complaints and stood first in the country. Addressing a conference of the ASSOCHAM, he said, after the RERA came into vogue one lakh projects and 71,514 agents registered with it across the country. So far, more than one lakh complaints have been resolved. Maharashtra ranked number one with resolving 39 percent of complaints pertaining to the projects followed by Tamil Nadu (13 %) and Gujarat (11 %). Also, the number of agents increased from 33,270 in January 2019 to 71,514 by January 2023, he added.
