Vasavi Group MD Yerram Vijay Kumar said that even in an election year, the genuine buyers will not hesitate to realise their dream to own a home. He explained to Real Estate Guru about the development and market conditions in the construction sector of Hyderabad in 2022. He said that Hyderabad realty is developing significantly due to the revolutionary decisions taken by the Telangana government in infrastructure development. He added that the performance of his company has been better this year. Only the projects with quality constructions will get good support from buyers, he said. More excerpts from his conversation.
Trust is the key word for homebuyers as they prefer to own a home in the projects construction by companies whom they trust the most. This year we are handing over projects like GP Trends, Srinilayam, and Usharani Integra to buyers. By the end of next year, we will hand over projects like Lake City and Solitaire Heights in Hafeezpet to the buyers. We will also complete the Skycity which is being developed by Gachibowli. In all, we are constructing 10 projects in different parts of Hyderabad, comprising over 10,000 flats i.e. construction area of 2.5 crore sq.ft in total. Currently, we are focusing more on completing these projects which will take at least three to four years.
* Real estate sector is making better progress in all major cities of South Hyderabad. After MK Stalin became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the construction sector picked up significantly in Chennai. Sales of plots and flats are going well due to stable government and zero corruption. The market is improving in Bengaluru as well. We have some lands in Bengaluru where we are planning to start new projects. We are already executing some projects in association with Sumadhura Group. As far as Hyderabad is concerned, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao recently laid the foundation stone for the Airport Metro Rail works from Raidurgam to Shamshabad. If this is completed, connectivity will increase from areas like Narsingi, Kismatpur, TSPA Junction to Madhapur, Gachibowli and the Financial District. Due to this, the construction sector will grow significantly in these areas.
* We are building South India’s largest gated community at LB Nagar in Hyderabad. A total of 4,000 flats will be built in this project with construction area of around 80 lakh sq.ft. The height of each tower is about 34 storeys, making them the tallest towers in LB Nagar area.
