As a result of the smoke coming from there, many people faced difficulties. Firefighters had to work for two days to douse the fire. The government is drawing huge flak from people for turning such an expensive place into a dump yard. A Noida Authority official revealed that a scheme was brought up last year to take up a commercial project at that place, but it did not materialise due to a lack of suitable bidders. It has been revealed that another new scheme will be introduced after the Lok Sabha elections.
