After following Rakulpreet Singh trying to convince her to let the readers know what Rakul’s dream home is like, she agreed to do this interesting segment for the Real Estate Guru. Now that she is a well-known actress, the ‘Kondapolam’ fame owned a lovely house in Hyderabad when she just began her career here.
Calmness, refuge, favorite family members, a place of safe haven is all that her dream home should be like. We asked her to share the many ways she thinks about her dream home, she recalls, “It was 2016 when I bought my first ever home in Hyderabad, because I am an Army brat, my childhood memories are dispersed in so many homes because of my dad. Lived in various terrains, the fondest one would be the house on hills. I had my eyes on it, literally there were clouds entering your docile.” For this Tollywood actress, minimalistic decor is the way up to her heart! She is fond of pastel colors, it soothes her eyes it seems. Warm, cozy and consoling home is what the SIIMA winner looks for with lots of plants around. She highly dislikes jarring and fully crammed spaces.
“Even if I had all the money in this world, I’ll still keep my abode as trouble-free as it can be. It should give you a godly vibe. I love villas! Swimming pool and a nice sit-out will seal the deal for me. After a taxing day at work, I want to come home and de-stress myself. My vibe should reflect in the home I live in,” she added. Desiring to have her dream home by the beach, she is sure to build an airy-open villa there. Sometimes all we need is a space entirely to ourselves, and it’s a plus if that space comes with a private pool, maybe a large garden, and an endless view of the sea. She continues, “I always have these corners in my house where I usually sit, read and envisage. That’s my go-to corner for my creativity to flow as an actor.”
After giving much of a thought, Rakul decides to construct her dream villa on a very clean beach outside India, because amusingly she tells us that we can hardly find clean beaches here. “For each person, factors vary. Huge lawn, infinity pool, home-theatre, openness will be the most desirable factors in the dream home. Glass windows are another fascinating attraction to me,” she avows.
Certainly, the actress from ‘De De Pyaar De’ finds interior designing one of the most important aspects of constructing a full-fledged home yet she narrates to us, “My homes in Bombay and Hyderabad are built with my own ideas. I want my vibe to be reflected in my home. I went shopping for the decor myself, it should be more personalized to feel more connected with your home.”
Extremely fond of Shilpa Reddy’s interiors, the actress felt the homely vibe there. “I love Hyderabad, it has the most loveliest properties to buy and best of best people with mesmerizing homes all around,” concludes the actress who is all set for her next titled ‘Chattriwali’. Home means a future, for Rakulpreet she could think beyond week to week, and she could begin to look ahead to where she wants to go too. Home is the base where everything begins for the actress finally!
