Prestige Group asked to stall construction activity

On the charges of violating measures to check air pollution at construction sites, the BMC breathed fire on the Prestige Group and served notice on the group asking it to stall construction activity.

A team of officials checking air pollution in the city visited the Siesta, Bellanza, and COC buildings of the Prestige City project in Mulund West of Mumbai and noticed that the anti-pollution measures were not put in place there. Therefore, the BMC served a notice asking the builder to stop construction activity as the builder failed to install enough sprinklers and anti-smog guns.

Responding to the notice, the Prestige Group said, in a release, that it initiated suitable measures to check the pollution and installed two anti-smog guns.
