The Special Chief Secretary to Municipal Administration Department and HMDA metropolitan commissioner Arvind Kumar has said that the Neopolis layout at Kokapet is set to become a cap in Hyderabad’s cap. He was addressing the participants of the pre-bed conference held at T-Hub recently. He said that infrastructural amenities would be developed in the layout at a cost of Rs 450 acres and the HMDA has allotted 41 acres for development of the amenities alone. After another one-and-half years, the region would transform beyond the expectations of all. Seven land parcels with a total area of 45.33 acres would be developed in the second phase and area of the land parcels varies from 3.60 acres to 9.71 acres.

The city of Hyderabad has been growing in phases and the government has been working hard to develop the city treating the planned development of infrastructural amenities as a yardstick. One can see the development of the city over the past several years with one’s naked eye, he said. The layout has a special significance in the western corridor of the city. The TS-bPASS will issue the approvals to the multi-storeyed structures to be built in the layout, which is situated at a height of 588 metres from mean sea level.

Precautions have been taken to ensure that the each land parcel has the north facing taking into consideration the people’s beliefs and vastu into consideration. Over 50 representatives of major real estate firms attended the pre-bid conference. For those who could not attend the event, a zoom conference was arranged for real estate firms of national and international repute from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Earlier, the MSTC representatives made a power-point presentation for the benefit of the participants. HMDA chief engineer BLN Reddy, secretary P Chandraiah, director (planning) Vidyadhar, chief information officer SK Meera, chief accounts officer Vijayalakshmi, OSD M Ramksihan and others took part in the event.
