The Necklace Road is gearing up for the Formula One race to be held in Hyderabad on February 11 next year. HMDA has started the works related to the proposed track around Hussain Sagar. The road around Sagar will be made suitable for racing with black topping. These works will be completed within a month. After that, road safety standards test will be conducted to see if this road is suitable for racing. Formula-One track is 2.80 kilometers long. There will be total 17 turns. Special arrangements are also being made for spectators to watch this race. The race circuit starts from opposite NTR Garden, travels through NTR Marg, Prasad IMAX Road and takes a loop there to reach back to NTR Garden.
