Isha likes pent house on the beach

Actress Isha Koppikar was born at Mahim in a Konkani Marathi family of Mangalorean descent. Haven’t she ever dreamt of a dream la la land? She obviously did. But before leading onto that aspect of her desire, we were eager to know about her childhood memories from the first ever residence she was living in.

“I bought my own house in 2004, and that was really close to the Siddhivinayak temple. It was a desirable property for me around that tenure. As we speak, it brings fuzzy & disjointed memories to focus. Soon after five years, sea-link was constructed and that became my all-time view. It’s like we often want to check in on the places where we once lived,” she expressed. Not forgetting to speak up on the early years of her home, she continued, “If we go back a little too backwards in time, we were living in a colony. I was being brought up in a very conservative environment. The colony was prospering from 7-8 buildings and there were so many neighbours to talk to. The community living brought in the much-needed gup-shup sort of atmosphere (she laughs) We can never forget those journeys where we sprung our roots from, it’s unforgettable, isn’t it? That clique ethereal taught me the importance of celebrating festivals together!

It was the most beautiful, gala time that I have spent in that colony.” The actress who began her journey from the south films itself was beaming while taking a trip down the memory lane. “Whether I am a famous actress or not, i only would rather have so much of space. Too much of furniture is boring! Spaced-out is the way to go for my abode. I can’t handle my house rather looking like a museum, ew,” she talked about how her tastes have changed after coming into the show-business. Did it impact at all and here was her reply! And then, “If you see me buying a pad in a flat, you’ll either see the name-plate named Isha Koppikar Narang on the top floor or the ground floor.

When I think of a penthouse specifically, would love to build one by the beach. Not that I am a water baby, but the asthetics of it is attractive for me. For example, tucked behind a fine landscape. What more would you want?” She has already crossed that fulfilling stage of her life, the seemingly endless paperwork is already completed for her own home & boxes are packed away. So where does she find the most inner peace at the moment in the beautiful dreamland she has in Mumbai? She replies, “That’s going to be my bedroom for sure. I live with a joint family, I can only vibe in own space. That’s when my energies swell. You know what? When I visited Italy & Greece, it made me want to encapsulate it’s culture into my own home. Just loved the white and blue palette, and the colourful french country! Iam mountain lover, inspite of that, I love a wooden cottage that will give me earthen feels. Wood attracts me, but dark colours are too unpleasant for me. Hate black!” She has found a heaven on the earth where she lives, and here’s to settling in with Isha Koppikar Narang.
