Buyers can be more safer now in TG

The Telangana state government has taken a decisive step against fraudulent practices by realtors. Setting up the Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal is a proactive move to protect buyers from problems arising with builders. Although the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has been established in Telangana, the full-fledged tribunal setup is yet to be put in place. Recognising the importance of this issue, the state government has initiated the establishment of the Real Estate Appellate Tribunal. This development has been warmly welcomed in the construction sector.

Chief Justice of the Tribunal, Justice Rajashekar Reddy, along with members Pradeep Kumar Reddy Palle and retired IAS officer Chitra Ramachandran, have been duly appointed. In this context, the Chief Minister made it clear that strict action would be taken to enforce the RERA Act rigorously. He urged homebuyers not to be deceived and assured that RERA regulations would be implemented effectively in Telangana, significantly reducing the chances of homebuyer fraud.
