Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal welcomes new leadership

The Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal saw a recent change in leadership as Justice A Rajasheker Reddy assumed the position of Chairperson, accompanied by two other distinguished members. This appointment, effective June 7, marks a significant development in the tribunal’s operations.Justice Reddy’s appointment as Chairperson aligns with Government Order number 67 under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. The official announcement, issued by M Dana Kishore, Principal Secretary to the Telangana government, cites the relevant legislative provisions empowering the appointment.Joining Justice Reddy are Pradeep Kumar Reddy Palle and retired IAS officer Chitra Ramachandran, who have been appointed as the judicial and administrative members, respectively.

Their appointments are in accordance with Government Order number 68, which highlights the statutory authority behind their selection.In his notification, M Dana Kishore underscores the government’s adherence to the provisions outlined in the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, and the Telangana Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017, in making these appointments.With the new leadership in place, the Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal is poised to continue its essential role in adjudicating real estate matters with fairness and diligence.
