The Mohali police registered four more cases against the Gupta Builders and Promoters. So far, 13 cases were registered against the directors of the group. These directors are currently absconding. Satish Gupta of Zirakpur in Mohali in association with Pardip Gupta of Gupta Builders and Promoters and other directors of the company and G and G Managing Partner Neeraj Gupta duped over 2500 customers to the tune of Rs 1500 crore claiming to sell flats in various projects.
They have collected huge sums from the property buyers leading to the Mohali police registering cases against the GBP directors. As more and more complaints surfaced against them, four more FIRs have been registered.
