We already have many of the ideas to make our dream home more appealing, so we pushed the new actress in T-town Ritika Nayak to entrench upon her thinking of a new dream home too. Bringing her vision into a new mix, she first recalls her first residence memories, “We are a nuclear family, back then it wasn’t a grand house that we used to live in when we were kids. We never felt the need to build a ‘kothi’! But that 1bhk gave us so many heartfelt memories to cherish till today.
Just outside of it was the terrace, i have spent all of the time playing there. As soon as I used to finish passing my time with the toys, i used to run to my mum in the kitchen and annoy her. There were no LCDs back then, i have spent watching cartoons on a television without a remote. That was life!” Just as any true love, she adore all the parts of her current residence too. Not just those, even if there is a gritter side to it, she doesn’t mind.
Coming to the main agenda, she talks about her dream home, “I would love to have the mix of both worlds—in fact, even right now my room will give you a specific vibe about me although I don’t clear the mess (she giggled). My mom is always after my life! You’ll find artificial plants, lamps, book shelf, etc. I am a huge BTS fan, you’ll see the merchandise placed in my room.” Successfully navigating between Delhi and Hyderabad, this Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam actress feels, “Villas aren’t made for me or my family, we love to be as close to one another. My dream home will definitely accomodate a guest room, so that anyone can come over freely. My friends are my extended family members! All of us are mostly spotted together, so it will be fun to have a bigger space for all of us.”
When she’s not shooting, you’ll find the debutant actress binge-watching in her bedroom, that’s right! Meeting your dream home too also offers some kind of love at first sight to you and just as we move further in conversation with the actress, she comes across as so transparent. “No matter how much money I earn over the years, I’ll still come back to birth-place, that’s Delhi and build the dream home here. I have grown up here, seen some ups and highs! My childhood is spent here, my attachment lies here.” Talking about her dream home idea seemed like a touchstone for us too and there is one celebrity home she just can’t get over from, and that was, “When I was in Mumbai, i happened to visit Sharukh Khan’s mannat and was awestruck. It left such an impact on me that I went onto search it’s history and came to know it’s always going to be there as a unique property.”
