Command control center in Hyderabad gets gold rating

The first ever Integrated Police Command and Control Center in the country, which was inaugurated in Hyderabad on Thursday by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, received gold rating. The command center was built in tune with the green building standards. Therefore, the CII-Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) gave gold rating to the structure. The Hyderabad chapter chairman of the IGBC C Sekhar Reddy presented the gold rating to the prestigious building to the Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy and Minister Vemula Prasant Reddy in the presence of the CM. The building became the first ever building of the police commissionerate in the country to get the IGBC rating.

The building has 550 KW onsite solar PV system, highly efficient air-conditioning systems, 100 per cent LED lighting facility, efficient plumbing fixtures, use of the sewerage treated water for use in land scaping and flushing, ventilation to 100 per cent building. Judging the building by these parameters the IGBC gave its gold rating to the structure.
