A prominent real estate company has planned its brochure launch event to give wide
publicity to its brand. The company first contacted actress Kajal to launch the brochure.
As she quoted a high amount to take part in a one-hour brochure launch event, the
opportunity went to Tollywood heroine Sri Leela. Actress Kajal is understood to have
quoted a sum of Rs 15 lakh plus lodging and boarding expenses to take part in the event
keeping in mind her popularity. A person who wished to remain anonymous said that her
manager did not reduce the amount quoted by her, forcing the realtor to search for an
alternative.
The company chose Sri Leela for launching the brochure and is understood to have
contacted her and reached an agreement to pay her Rs 12 lakh to take part in the event.
Moreover, Sri Leela resides in Hyderabad. As such the company would not have to pay
for her lodging and boarding expenses, thereby affecting the net savings of Rs 5 lakh to
Rs 6 lakh, the person said.
