The Magistrate Court denied bail to the directors of the Hindustan Construction Company limited (HCC) for delay in payment of TDS to the tune of Rs 50 crore for two financial years. The public prosecutor Amit Munde appealed to the court for denial of the bail to the directors. The court, at an earlier hearing, directed the accused to appear before it on Monday. As they failed to appear before the court, non-bailable warrants have been issued, the public prosecutor said. Therefore, the court denied bail to them.
