Minister for IT in Government of Andhra Pradesh Gudivada Amarnath has revealed the government’s plans to develop three IT Concept Cities in the state. There will come up at Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Ananthapur. Plans have been drafted in this regard, the minister said. The IT concept cities would develop the IT development in AP rapidly, he said.
The three towns have been identified taking into consideration various positive factors. These towns would be developed to attract national and international players in the fields of medical and health, education, tourism, insurance, banking to the three towns and cities besides attracting major IT players to them. The concept cities would benefit the IT units. These towns will have uninterrupted connectivity to national highways and airports. Plug and play offices and co-working spaces would be developed. The government will provide world class IT infrastructural amenities and ensure that efficient human resources are available to the investors.
