AP CM urged to implement free sand policy

• CREDAI’s plea to AP Government

The CREDAI Andhra Pradesh has urged the Government of Andhra Pradesh to introduce free sand policy to bring the past glory to the realty sector in the state. CREDAI-AP chairman Alla Sivareddy said that he explained it to the chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

The free sand policy would be helpful in reviving the real estate sector, which is the second largest employer after the agriculture. The real estate sector in the state has been facing challenges with the increase of prices of steel, cement and sand. It is still climbing back on to the rails. At this juncture, free sand policy would be helpful in reviving the realty sector.

The impact fee imposed by the state government to give permissions to the construction of buildings is burdensome to the developers, according to CREDAI AP vice president YV Ramana Rao. Meanwhile, the CREDAI Rajamahendravaram chapter elected new executive. The following are the office bearers: Honorary Chairman-Buddiga Srinivasulu, Chairman-Suravarapu Srinivasa Kumar and president- Manyam Santosh Kumar.
