NAREDCO Telangana strongly supports the government’s initiatives, Bhu Bharathi and BuildNow Application. They believe that these can be effectively implemented and, as part of this, NAREDCO Telangana is committed to ongoing discussions with relevant stakeholders. The organisation has expressed its gratitude to the government for implementing these measures. NAREDCO Telangana believes that these efforts will contribute to planned urban development and enhance investor confidence.
It lauded the Bhu Bharathi initiative for providing greater clarity, transparency, and reliability in land records. It views this as a more effective, revamped version of the previous Dharani portal. NAREDCO Telangana expressed confidence that the streamlined processes will address previous challenges and allow for the rectification of legal errors. The initiative is expected to improve public trust in land ownership records and believes that the modernised Record of Rights (RoR) system will play a critical role in Bhu Bharathi. The organisation emphasised that this is essential for developers to reduce legal risks and make informed investment decisions.
On this occasion, NAREDCO Telangana President Vijaya Sai Meka stated, “The Bhu Bharathi program is a major step forward towards establishing a transparent and efficient land management system in Telangana. Along with this, the BuildNow Application will streamline the approval process for buildings and layouts. It will make project execution much easier for developers. NAREDCO Telangana believes that this program will provide undeniable value to developers, investors, and property owners alike. We are committed to working with the government to ensure that the real estate sector reaps the maximum benefits of such progressive reforms.”
He further added, “BuildNow Application has revolutionised the approval process for building construction permits, making it much faster. This will be another milestone in the approval process under the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department. Other states are also expected to adopt a similar approach for building construction approvals soon. NAREDCO Telangana hopes that the Bhu Bharathi portal will resolve many issues developers face, such as missing survey numbers, displaying layouts as open lands, or incorrectly listing survey numbers in the prohibited list.”
